Hey John, it’s Dave Min, Congressman from California’s 47th District.

In just a few short months, Donald Trump has taken a sledgehammer to the rule of law, the Constitution, and our democracy with a whirlwind of blatantly illegal and so deeply immoral actions. And too many of my colleagues in Congress seem okay with watching this happen.

I want to make this as clear as possible: I refuse to allow Trump to become the new normal. I know this is an urgent, make-or-break moment for our democracy, and that is why I’ve been one of the most vocal and proactive members of Congress in fighting back.
