At a time when liberalism is under attack in the U.S. and around the world, CNL is fighting back with a forward-looking vision grounded in practical, actionable solutions. That fight is powered by our global network of grassroots chapters.
From advancing ADUs in Huntsville and housing abundance in Austin and NYC , to electing pragmatic leaders in Colorado and Virginia , to creating a home for young, center-left professionals in Toronto, Johannesburg, and London , our chapters have been making a real difference in the world.
In recent months, we’ve seen a growing wave of interest from people who are eager to join the fight and get more involved with CNL. In response, we’re hosting an informational call on Monday, July 7th, at 8:00 PM ET for anyone interested in taking on a leadership role, whether that means starting a new chapter, getting more involved locally, or helping revive an inactive one.

You’ll hear from CNL Director Colin Mortimer , Deputy Director Tobin Stone , and myself, as well as a member of CNL’s Steering Committee [[link removed]] , about what it means to lead a chapter and how to get started. On the call, we’ll cover:
* * CNL’s mission and national priorities
* What active chapters are doing on the ground in their communities
* The relationship between chapters and the national team
* What it looks like to launch or lead a chapter
* The next steps for getting started
CNL chapters are led by people of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. Whether you’re a seasoned advocate or brand new to this, we’re here to help you succeed with training, support, and opportunities to connect in person at events like our annual New Liberal Action Summit [[link removed]] .
If you're interested in starting or leading a chapter, fill out the interest form below. We’ll follow up with more details and a link to join the July 7th call.
