getting real. We have another potential Republican opponent.

His website even says, “We the people want a governor with white hair…so
they have empathy for us.” Whatever that means.
Marylanders are smart enough to know that the amount of hair someone has
isn’t indicative of their ability to lead this state.
Not only is this dog-whistle rhetoric out of touch, it’s also inaccurate.
Wes has faced and overcome more hardship than most politicians ever will.
He lost his father at just three years old. He felt handcuffs on his
wrists at 11. He served in combat overseas. And every step of the way,
he’s carried those experiences with him.
John xxxxxx, the old
guard wants to undo the progress we’ve made with Wes. They’re not afraid
to discount his experience (or even his lack of hair) in an effort to make
sure we go back to the broken old politics of yesterday.
