As people across New Jersey feel the crunch of rising costs, I am more determined than ever to put more money back in the pockets of New Jerseyans and make life more affordable for families throughout our state.

Earlier this month, I announced that New Jersey would provide more than $430 million in direct relief to lower the cost of monthly energy bills.

Every household will receive $100 in direct energy relief, and low and moderate-income families will receive an additional $150 deduction from their monthly energy bill.

But let me be clear: This is just a short-term solution to a longer-term problem.
