I recently took on U.S. Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth directly and exposed just how little he knows about New Mexico’s border.
He couldn’t answer basic questions. He had no clue about the terrain, the wall, or the tools we need to keep our communities safe. And yet he’s directing billions of dollars in border-related spending with zero understanding of the facts on the ground.
That kind of reckless incompetence is exactly what we’ve come to expect from the MAGA movement. Hegseth was just the beginning. I’ll go toe-to-toe with anyone, anywhere, to protect Southern New Mexico and stop their dangerous agenda.
But Hegseth is just one piece of a much bigger threat: Trump’s MAGA allies are pouring money into races like mine because they know holding this seat is key to flipping the House blue.
