Chairwoman Stefanik’s Statement on Democrat NYC Mayor Primary

New York GOP Chairman Ed Cox stated -

"Zohran Mamdani’s victory in the Democratic primary is the most alarming signal yet of how far left and out of touch the Democratic Party has become. Mamdani is a self-described socialist who has supported the defunding of our police, the boycotting of our allies and policies that failed in the Soviet Union.

With Mamdani as the Democratic nominee, anti-Semitism is now dangerously close to having official status in City Hall. Mamdani must be defeated in November – and Republican Curtis Sliwa is the only candidate who will fight for safe streets and economic opportunity for all New Yorkers."

Chairwoman Stefanik Praises President Trump’s Ceasefire Deal

In this one, he took decisive action to eliminate Iran’s nuclear program to bring peace. Chairwoman Stefanik Secures $4.2 Million for Upstate & North County Projects

House Republican Leadership Chairwoman Elise Stefanik delivered $4.2 million in funding through the Northern Border Regional Commission that will bring major investments in rural healthcare, water infrastructure, and workforce housing across NY-21 towns like Lake Placid, Whitehall, Waddington, Plattsburgh, and Webb.

These resources will modernize public health services, build new housing, and support cultural and municipal development for local priorities to strengthen economic opportunity via community development and infrastructure builds.

Chairwoman Stefanik’s work in Congress ensures that New York and the North Country communities aren’t left behind, but they're empowered to thrive!

"I’m proud to announce that I helped secure over $4.2 million in funding to complete important projects via NBRC, which will spur economic growth and community development throughout our Upstate and North Country communities.

Executive Director of the Lake Champlain-Lake George Regional Planning Board Beth Gilles stated -

Many communities in the Park are ready for housing solutions, and this grant will help us prepare shovel-ready sites to meet that need. We’re grateful to the Congresswoman for her ongoing support of our work and of year-round residents in the Adirondacks."

Plattsburgh Mayor Wendell Hughes stated -

"It is with great appreciation that the City of Plattsburgh has been awarded this grant from the Northern Border Regional Commission for our wastewater system feasibility study for the Rugar Street corridor.
