It’s Pride Month, and I want to tell you about someone I’m proud of:
My friend Chris Pappas.
He’s running for New Hampshire’s open U.S. Senate seat and would be the first openly gay male U.S. Senator in our nation’s history. It’s about time! 🌈
We’ve come a long way in our fight for LGBTQ+ rights — but with the Republican trifecta in power, we must do everything we can to protect the progress we’ve made and defeat their constant stream of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation.
Today, I’m reaching out to ask: Will you split a donation of $10 or more between Chris Pappas and me to send him to the U.S. Senate?
Throughout Chris’s six-plus years in Congress, I’ve had a front-row view of the fearless and tireless advocate he is for all Granite Staters:
🔵 He’s a champion for veterans and small businesses, and he has never forgotten his roots. Chris comes from a Greek immigrant family that founded the Puritan Backroom — a pillar of the Manchester community — over a century ago. (His grandfather even invented the chicken tender!)
🔵 He’s the proud product of public schools and will continue to defend our education system from the Trump administration’s ruthless attacks.
🔵 Finally, he won one of the “swingiest” districts in the nation when he was first elected to Congress, and later defeated Trump’s White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt. He’s ready to beat out the Republican opposition to win this Senate seat.
Donald Trump and his billionaire friends have their eyes on this race and think they can buy the midterm elections with his $600 million campaign fund.
