Friend – with just over 48 hours until my biggest fundraising deadline in months, and with the Senate voting on Trump's Big, Ugly Bill at any moment, I'm asking you to chip in $5 today toward my $50,000 end-of-quarter goal.

Because if we're going to keep up the fight to stop them from choking off health care coverage for tens of millions of people, I need your help.

If we're going to keep up the fight to stop them from shutting down rural hospitals and clinics and pushing older Americans out of nursing homes, I need your help.

If we're going to keep up the fight to stop them from ripping lifesaving treatments, vital medications, and routine care from millions of people, I need your help.

If we're going to keep up the fight to stop them from forcing millions of kids, veterans, low-income workers, disabled folks, and our elders to go hungry, I need your help.

And if we're going to keep up the fight to stop them from letting Trump's tariffs send inflation sky-high, making you thousands of dollars more for the basics each year, I need your help.

Now you might be wondering: How could my $5 possibly help Sen. Murray keep up the fight to stop Republicans' from passing this disastrous budget to fund Trump's agenda – and kicking off the single largest transfer of wealth from the poor to the rich in U.S. history?

See, after 12 a.m., July 1, we are required by law to report our fundraising numbers from the last quarter to the FEC. Then, they'll be published online for everyone, including Trump, the GOP, and megadonors like Elon Musk, to see.

And believe me – they will be looking. 

So, will our numbers show there's a groundswell of support for Democrats to stop the GOP from shoveling money into the pockets of corporations and the richest 20% of Americans by robbing the poorest 80% and adding trillions to the national debt?

Will they indicate that voters are fed up with the job they're doing in the other Washington – and that come next November, they may be out of a job entirely?

Or, will it show the GOP that we're not fired up enough to put up a fight against their agenda that throws health care, food stamps, veterans benefits, and so much more down the drain to fund Trump's Big, Ugly Bill?

The answer depends on whether I can count on grassroots supporters like you to help me reach my $50,000 goal before 11:59 p.m. Monday night.

At this point, our fundraising strength is one of our best opportunities to show Republicans in Congress that if they sell out the American people to fuel Trump's ego, there will be hell to pay. So please, friend, will you help me send a message the GOP cannot ignore by contributing $5, or the best amount you can, right away?
