I’m running for Congress again to flip Michigan’s 4th district from red to blue.

I refuse to stand by while Bill Huizenga continues to turn his back on West and Southwest Michigan. He has spent his first few weeks of this term catering to Donald Trump’s extremist agenda, and he’s not even giving his constituents the courtesy of opening a line of communication to relay their concerns.

For months, Huizenga refused to hold town halls, take meetings, and he even turned off his voicemail. Ignoring constituents is disgraceful. We deserve a leader who will do their job and take the time to listen to the thoughts and concerns of our community.

But even with Huizenga’s communication shut down, we’re in for a tough fight. The far-right Republicans in Congress are willing to sacrifice everything for power — and they’ll do whatever it takes to silence anyone who opposes them.

I can’t stand by and let the far-right dismantle our country. And I know you feel the same way.
