Washington, D.C. – The Campaign for Sustainable Rx Pricing (CSRxP) issued the
following statement on Saturday on the inclusion of a policy supported by the
pharmaceutical industry in reconciliation package legislation released Friday
night.

“The Big Pharma-supported policy added to the reconciliation bill would cost
seniors and taxpayers billions of dollars in higher prescription drug prices,”
said CSRxP executive director Lauren Aronson. “Congress should remove this Big
Pharma giveaway from the reconciliation tax bill.”
