Dear friends,
Today marks the anniversary of the founding of Stand With Parkland - The National Association of Families for Safe Schools, an organization created by families who banded together in the aftermath of tragedy.
We didn’t ask to become advocates. We didn’t want to start an organization. But after our children and spouses were murdered at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, we knew we had a responsibility to act.
And from the very beginning, we chose to do things differently.

It’s not glamorous. In fact, our focus on bipartisanship can feel like an insurmountable challenge some days. But we’ve stuck with it — because we believe meaningful, lasting change requires everyone at the table.
That approach has made Florida a national leader in school safety. It helped pass meaningful federal legislation. It’s moved the needle in red states and blue states alike. And it's saved lives.

Now, as we mark this anniversary and approach the final hours of the quarter, we’re asking you to stand with us, not just in remembrance, but in action.
We have chosen this path, and we’ve stayed on it—day after day, year after year—because we owe it to the ones we lost, and to every child across our nation still walking into their schools.
Thank you for being part of this movement.
