I’m sorry to be so direct, but Monday’s FEC fundraising deadline is probably the single most important test of the year so far for our campaign. Here’s why:
After Monday, our fundraising numbers from the last three months will go public for the world to see: The media, our potential opponents, and all the extremist super PACs that are currently weighing just how much money to spend against me.
So if we fall short of our goal and have to release a report saying as much, that will send a message to National Republicans and their ultra-wealthy allies that KS-03 is vulnerable to flip red. We can’t let that happen.
So today, I’m asking for your support. Because there is no realistic world where Democrats take back the House without winning right here in KS-03.
This is one of those moments where I’m really counting on folks to step up — because what we accomplish together in the next three days truly matters.
