Friend,
Dean had a big win earlier this month, when the president signed his Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act into law. This legislation will make it easier for small businesses to weather the storm of the ongoing pandemic.
But the very same day the law was enacted, Republican leadership endorsed Dean's challenger. That's the type of angry partisanship we're up against.
Our deadline is fast approaching, and we can't afford to miss it. Will you chip in today to keep Dean's voice of bipartisanship and principled leadership in Congress?

Friend,
While I've been busy building bipartisan coalitions to tackle real challenges facing our country, Republicans have been busy working to unseat me.
Case in point: The same day my Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act won overwhelming bipartisan support to reach the president's desk, House Republican leader Kevin McCarthy endorsed my opponent. I don't have to tell you that too many Republican leaders and their dark-money backers care about nothing more than partisan games.
That's what we're up against this year -- and I don't take my reelection for granted.
Hundreds of grassroots supporters have chipped in since we started our mid-month fundraising drive, but we're still falling short. Will you contribute before midnight Saturday to help us reach our 500-donation goal?

We face challenges unlike any we've ever seen -- protecting public health during the pandemic, defending our democracy, achieving racial justice, and addressing the climate crisis, just to name a few.
I want to invite everyone to the table to solve these problems, but I can only do it if I win another term.
I can't win this without you. Will you make a donation before midnight Saturday to help me win again in November?
Thanks,
Dean
