John,
Beto is back on the road, holding town halls across Texas — meeting people where they are, listening to concerns, and standing up for communities being ignored by those in power.
This is what democracy should look like. And it’s exactly what we’re building at Powered by People.
But showing up like this — all across Texas — takes real resources. And with the FEC’s end-of-quarter fundraising deadline this Monday, we need your help to keep it going.
Right now, we’re up against some tough fights organized by extremist Republicans:
A new law forcing Public Schools to display the Ten Commandments;
Attempts to gut Medicaid, food assistance, summer lunch programs for Texas kids;
Pushing cruel and unnecessary laws that target immigrant families;
…and this is just to name a few!
Republicans are counting on us to get tired. To give up. To look the other way.
But that’s not what we do. That’s not what Texans do.
Hitting our end-of-quarter goal ensures we can keep showing up, organizing, and holding those in power accountable. Every town hall and every conversation matters. And it all depends on your support.
Together,
Team Powered By People
