This week’s Supreme Court ruling to protect DACA was a huge victory — but the fight is far from over. We must take action to protect Dreamers and immigrant families. No human is illegal and everyone deserves the opportunity to pursue their own American Dream.

But, DACA is not enough and it has never been enough. It was only the first step towards the permanent protections we need. The American Dream and Promise Act will provide Dreamers with a path to citizenship and stop the deportation of undocumented immigrants who were minors when they were brought to the U.S. The House has done their job by passing The American Dream and Promise Act, now it’s up to the Senate to do the right thing.

The New Way Forward Act will decriminalize immigrants, challenge racial and anti-immigrant policies that push for deportation, and combat the Trump Administration’s inhumane assault on undocumented immigrants across the U.S.
