Governor Kelly Opposes Proposed
Federal Cuts to Medicaid, SNAP
Governor Kelly speaks at a rural hospital earlier this year
“We know that these cuts would harm people in our states. Kansas’ SNAP program helps address hunger and puts healthy food on the table for nearly 190,000 people, including 87,000 kids. This reckless legislation would force kids to go hungry and increase costs for all Americans. On top of that, it would hurt our grocers, especially in our rural communities.”
