IDF pushes back against outrageous allegations of deliberate fire towards Gazans seeking aid
The IDF released a statement pushing back against allegations leveled in Ha'aretz that Israeli troops deliberately fired on Gazans waiting for humanitarian aid.
"We strongly reject the accusation raised in the article - the IDF did not instruct the forces to deliberately shoot at civilians, including those approaching the distribution centers. To be clear, IDF directives prohibit deliberate attacks on civilians... The allegations of deliberate fire toward civilians presented in the article are not recognized in the field," the IDF

In a joint statement, Prime Minister Netanyahu and Defense Minister Katz said, "The State of Israel absolutely rejects the contemptible blood libels that have been published in the Ha'aretz newspaper...
