These cuts would hurt families across the country — including right here in Sacramento County. And the priorities behind this bill couldn’t be clearer: punish those who need help the most, and reward those who already have the most.
I’ve seen firsthand how vital programs like Medicaid and SNAP are for patients managing chronic conditions, accessing preventative care, and keeping food on the table. These aren’t just numbers or data points — they’re people’s lives and livelihoods.
