Dear Friends,

I am writing to share the latest updates with you on my recent Congressional work.

This week, I voted to champion our nation’s veterans by supporting the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act, which fully funds VA healthcare programs and military construction and protects our veterans’ 2nd Amendment rights.

I also introduced new legislation to provide tax relief to homeowners who conduct fire mitigation efforts on their property.  

And I reintroduced the Pro Codes Act, guaranteeing free public access to technical standards, such as fire or building codes.  

Finally, my office welcomed some of the district’s brightest STEM students to Washington, D.C., representing competitive robotics teams at Poway High School and Del Norte High School.
