Team,
Did you see me in the Chicago Sun-Times?

They ran a feature on the legal battle to stop Donald Trump’s extreme overreaches — and they named me as a key figure in that fight. I don’t do this work to get praise from the press, but I’ll admit that it feels good when people recognize how important this work is.
Because this fight is personal to me.
I’m a birthright baby. My mother wasn’t yet naturalized at the time of my birth. Trump is trying to override the Constitution and end birthright citizenship.
I’m a cancer survivor. Trump gutted NIH funding while people I love are fighting for their lives.
And now, as Attorney General, I’ve led and joined over 20 lawsuits challenging Trump’s attacks on our rights, communities, and our Constitution.
We’re winning in court, but there is still a long road ahead of us. Trump and his allies won’t be slowing down any time soon, but neither will we.
Can you rush a donation of any amount to help us stay in the fight and prepare for what’s ahead?
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
I’m proud of the work we’ve accomplished together so far, and I’m grateful to have you in this fight with me.
Thank you,
Kwame
