Republicans have laid out their plan: rip Medicaid away from millions of Americans to fund yet another tax cut for billionaires. It’s cruel. It’s dangerous. And it’s a direct threat to the working families who make this country run. Let me be clear: Republicans’ plan will break our country’s working class and shutter rural hospitals. Families in New Mexico and across America depend on Medicaid for everything from doctor visits to mental health care to life-saving treatments. Stripping that away isn’t just bad policy — it’s a moral failure. We can’t afford to let this happen. But to fight back, we need to let them know we have real momentum on our side — and that starts with a strong showing for our FEC filing deadline.
