Donald Trump wants to cut off funding for public broadcasting in order to
help fund his tax cuts for billionaires.

[ [link removed] ]I’m speaking out and fighting for this vital funding. Millions of
Americans — including children — count on programs like NPR and PBS for
educational, informative content. If you stand opposed to these cuts, add
your name alongside mine today.

If Trump had his way, Congress would outright cancel funding for the
Corporation for Public Broadcasting, which funds NPR and PBS.

These cuts would impact radio programming and reporting from NPR — and the
brunt of the impacts would be on rural communities and local stations.

These cuts would mean children won’t be able to access educational
programming that kids have enjoyed for decades. Sesame Street is such
quality programming — every child should be able to watch these programs,
regardless of their zip code or income level.

These cuts are another part of the DOGE playbook: Terminating funding for
programs that millions of Americans count on, all while the richest in the
country get another tax cut.

I won’t stand for it.
