John,
The recent victory of Zohran Mamdani in New York City’s Democratic mayoral primary is a red flag for Georgia.
Mamdani, a 33-year-old socialist endorsed by figures like Bernie Sanders, champions policies—free public transit, city-run grocery stores, and steep tax increases—that threaten the economic freedom we value. His win signals a growing acceptance of radical ideas that could spread down the Eastern Seaboard to Georgia by the 2026 elections if we don’t act. As a businessman who built JP Capital & Insurance from the ground up, I know what drives Georgia’s success: capitalism, hard work, and limited government interference. Socialism stifles opportunity, burdens businesses, and erodes the American Dream I’ve lived and fought for—and most importantly, it’s NEVER WORKED. As Lieutenant Governor, I’ve worked tirelessly to protect our state’s values, and I’m committed to keeping Georgia a beacon of freedom and prosperity.
We can’t let Mamdani’s vision take root here. I’m asking for your support to strengthen our campaign. A contribution of $25, $50, or $100 will help us build a defense against these encroaching policies. If you’re unable to donate, please share our message with others.
Together, we can ensure Georgia remains a state where opportunity thrives, not where government overreach suffocates it.
Join me in this critical fight.
Sincerely,
Burt Jones Lieutenant Governor, Candidate for Governor
