Need another reason to despise Republicans’ Big BS Bill? This one is big: this bill threatens over 90,000 jobs nationwide, including thousands of jobs here in Arizona.

Here’s how:

The clean energy tax credits that were baked into the Inflation Reduction Act allowed for clean energy projects to proceed and provided clean energy jobs in communities like Buckeye, where those projects were taking place.

But now that Donald Trump’s administration has rolled back and gutted much of the Inflation Reduction Act and the clean energy policies enacted under the Biden Administration, those jobs and projects are now at risk.

These projects helped to create a solar and battery power boom in Arizona that not only helped us advance our climate goals but also provided good-paying jobs with benefits to Arizonans who are trying to make ends meet.
