Interesting times

We're living in "interesting times" like that old Chinese curse.

I wrote something today that was troubling and difficult to write. Why?
Because writing it puts my livelihood at risk too, just like the
organization I'm writing about. But in the end, I have to do what I
believe is right, not what's easy.

You may have heard about the demonetization of Zero Hedge, one of the
leading sources of alternative news in the country. This is really
alarming because freedom of speech is one of our most sacred rights.
That includes the freedom for those with differing opinions to have
platforms and hold microphones.

Whether you love or hate ZH isn't the point. The point is that one side
of the discussion is being shut down. And without checks and balances,
our republic dies. Let me know what you think in the comments.
