TELL THE SENATE: Republicans want to give more power to Big Tech companies with a stronghold on AI tech like Google, Microsoft and Elon Musk’s xAI. Trump’s budget would ban states from implementing AI safeguards — a dangerous proposal that only helps Big Tech companies. Sign the petition: Don’t ban safeguards on Google, xAI, and Microsoft’s AI tech!

Hi,

Republicans in Congress could try to pass their disastrous budget as early as this weekend. They’re coming after Medicaid, SNAP, Head Start, and other programs that millions of working families rely on.

But buried in the bill is an attempt to ban any and all state safety rules for artificial intelligence — for the next 10 years.1

This is the same AI that is currently wreaking havoc on our education system, spreading misinformation like wildfire on social media, and being used to stalk immigrants to assist ICE’s mass deportations.

Banning AI safeguards would give a blank check to Silicon Valley giants like Google, Microsoft, OpenAI, and Elon Musk. Their greed is already out of control — imagine the damage they could do without ANY shred of accountability or oversight?

Sign the petition: Urge the Senate to block the GOP attempt to ban AI regulation efforts and give a massive handout to Google, Microsoft, and Elon Musk!

This proposal is a reckless and dangerous giveaway to Big Tech CEOs across the nation.

For years, these CEOs have been trying to force unfinished, unaccountable AI into every aspect of society. Banning the possibility of implementing safeguards for this new technology would all but ensure their goals are achieved.

It would mean that even if a tech company designed an algorithm that could be used to harm others (like tracking the whereabouts of immigrants so they can be brutally abducted and deported), that same company would be shielded from lawmakers.

This is a dangerous slippery slope and it could be voted on in HOURS!

Sign the petition: Demand the Senate stop dangerous AI!

Thanks for taking action,
