The Supreme Court just made it harder for millions of Americans to access essential health care.
In a 6-3 decision, the Court ruled that states can block Medicaid funding from going to Planned Parenthood. This cuts off access to contraception, cancer screenings, and other critical services for low-income patients. This was never about quality of care. This was a political decision that will have devastating consequences for real people.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson said it best: this ruling strips people of “a deeply personal freedom- the ability to decide who treats us at our most vulnerable.”
