John — this election will be won by how many people stand with our campaign. So today, I’m only asking 500 of you to chip in $1.
No, that’s not a typo. Let me explain:
I’m running to put people over profits and deliver common sense solutions — like finally banning Members of Congress from insider trading. I also don’t accept a cent of corporate PAC money. On the other hand, my opponent has taken nearly $2 million in corporate money throughout his time in Congress.
When our fundraising numbers go public at the end of this quarter, I want the political insiders, media and corporate PACs to see that everyday people stand by our mission. That’s why my team and I need your four quarters today, so here’s the part where I ask you:
Will you be one of the 500 supporters we need to chip in $1 (or more!) today? Every cent brings us closer to reaching our end-of-quarter goal and sending a loud message: Campaigns should be funded by PEOPLE, not driven by corporations.
