Trump promised to keep us out of war.

Instead, he bombed Iran.

Trump promised he’d never touch Medicaid.

Instead, he’s demanded that Congress cut hundreds of billions of dollars from Medicaid.

Trump promised Veterans that he would always have their back.

Instead, Veterans are seeing their care and the services they depend on disappear. Wait times for appointments and prescriptions have increased exponentially. Food assistance has been cut. VA mortgage support has been cut.

And we’re nowhere close to the end.

This is chaos. When you wake up in the morning and don’t know whether your country is at war or not, that’s chaos. When you don’t know if your health care is going to cover your child’s check up a week from now, that’s chaos. When you’re kicked out of your house because the government pulled the rug out from underneath you, that’s chaos.

This isn’t freedom. It isn’t efficiency. It isn’t greatness. It’s chaos.

But we don’t have to sit here and take it. There’s a path out of this.

We’ve got to buckle down and support the leaders who are combatting this chaos right now. We’ve got to send a message to the GOP that their days are numbered. And we’ve got to power through and defeat MAGA up and down the ballot next year.
