The University of North Carolina Wilmington is officially on defense.
After Accuracy in Media exposed staffers bragging about being “sneaky” to get
around the Board of Governors’ DEI ban, the university admitted it is “aware”
of the scandal and that the employees’ actions are “under review.”
That’s bureaucratic-speak for they got caught.

Here’s what they said to the local press:
UNCW is aware of a video alleging the regulatory noncompliance […] The
employees’ actions are under review, and the leadership team is taking swift
action to look into these matters further.
Let’s be clear: this only happened because you and I brought the pressure. And
if we don’t keep it up, UNCW will sweep this under the rug like nothing
happened.
Just like we did at UNC Charlotte, UNC Asheville, and Western Carolina
University, we won’t stop until real accountability is enforced.
Go to SaveNCSchools.com <[link removed]> right now to demand the
Board of Governors take action. A video and a promise aren’t enough. DEI
radicals are still embedded in these schools.
Hold the line,
The Accuracy in Media Team
