New Pennsylvania Project

Did you see this message, fellow activist?

We are navigating a new reality – where our democracy is under threat, our rights are being stripped away, and our courts are being politicized like never before. That's why it’s so critical that we secure the necessary funding to ensure that voters are informed and ready to turn out and vote in every election.

However, within our ecosystem, funding is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain. Not only is it harder to raise funds during odd-year elections, but funding from large foundations and institutions is not moving as expected during these times of uncertainty.

More than ever before, we are depending on the power of individual grassroots donations to fuel our organization, and we need your help:

In order to maintain our current level of operations and to ramp up to ensure voters know what’s at stake, we are depending on your support. All donations up to $50,000 will be matched, thanks to a generous angel donor, and we are still short of that goal.

Please help support our voter education and mobilization work by donating $25 or whatever you can now, and have twice the impact.

Together,

Katy Personette

Fellow activist,

During these unprecedented times, our nation is navigating a new reality that we have never before encountered. From voting rights being stripped away and attempts to politicize our courts to attacks on immigrant communities, climate responsibility, social safety net programs, and much more. NOW is the TIME to invest in our work to engage voters year-round – it has never been more important.

Here’s the thing: Across the ecosystem, funding is scarce. It is harder to raise funds during odd-year elections, but they are just as important, especially for Pennsylvania in 2025. Unfortunately, judicial elections are overlooked by the electorate in the Commonwealth and low turnout in judicial election years can be credited to low information/civic education around the elections, the judicial candidates and the roles judges play in defending democracy in general. In order to change that, we must INVEST in year-round civic education and engagement.

More than ever before, we are depending on the power of individual grassroots donations to fuel our organization. That is why we are reaching out today.

We need your help not only to maintain our current level of operations but also to ramp up as we prepare for the crucial Supreme Court retention elections and other judicial, local and municipal elections in Pennsylvania.

Thanks to a generous angel donor, all donations up to $50,000 will be DOUBLED, but we only have a few weeks left to take advantage of this opportunity. Will you help support our voter education and mobilization work by rushing $25 or whatever you can now and have 2X the impact?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately: Donate $25 = It becomes $50 Donate $50 = It becomes $100 Donate $100 = It becomes $200 Donate $250 = It becomes $500 Donate $1000 = It becomes $2000 MAKE YOUR DONATION TWICE AS POWERFUL →

Our work doesn’t stop after a presidential race – we are still out in our communities working to build community power, increase voter turnout, especially in odd-year elections, and expand the electorate. Can we count on your support?

Together,

Team NPP

Donations to the New Pennsylvania Project supports our staff’s community engagement efforts including; organizing and hosting town halls, educational webinars, community conversations, and creating digital content, bi-weekly blasts and social media to reach the communities we engage year-round.

The New Pennsylvania Project (NPP) is a voting rights organization with a year-round primary focus on voter registration, civic education, and mobilization. NPP centers historically disenfranchised and often neglected Black, Indigenous and other people of color, immigrant communities and the youth in our work. Through civic engagement, we ensure all eligible voters feel compelled to exercise their freedom to vote in the Commonwealth.
