John,
This week, Donald Trump finally went too far for Facebook. After debuting a series of ads featuring a symbol used by Nazis, Facebook actually took down some of Trump’s ads.
But Facebook is still running with ads where Trump lies about his record on Social Security―and we’re fighting back, getting the truth out there!
Read more about Trump’s record below, then chip in to fight back against Trump’s war on seniors!
Thanks,

John,
Donald Trump’s campaign has spent about $1 million per month over the past year on Facebook ads. The content has largely been his usual blend of xenophobic braggodocio, along with scam contests offering people a chance to meet the President (contests that it appears no one wins1).
But yesterday, the Trump campaign dropped a new set of ads, touting his record on Social Security. The only problem? The ads are blatant lies:
In 2016, Donald Trump did run on a promise not to cut Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid. But since taking office, he has led a non-stop assault on our earned benefits. The only reason that he can say that he kept his promise is that our organized opposition stopped him from implementing his disastrous proposals.
Seniors have awakened to the nightmare Trump’s presidency has been. Social Security Works is organizing seniors to EXPAND, never cut, our Social Security system. Pitch in $7 today to counter Trump’s lies with the TRUTH!
Every budget Trump has proposed as President has included cuts to Social Security and Medicare. His favorite proposal to help struggling families during the pandemic is to defund Social Security and Medicare, making them ripe for a fast-track commission to cut them without Trump’s fingerprints on it.
Trump and his party have declared a war on seniors, going so far as to propose we let seniors die instead of fighting the pandemic. Seniors are ready to fight back!
We’re pushing back against Trump’s lies, and telling the TRUTH about the GOP war on seniors! Chip in $7 today to fight back!
Thank you,
