This Father’s Day is going to be a little different, friend.
So many families across Canada have been adjusting to new schedules or challenges these past few months, and many Dads have also been among the countless frontline workers whose selfless service is helping keep us all healthy and safe.
This year is also different (and special) for me personally, as it’s the first Father’s Day since my wife and I welcomed our son last summer – right before the 2019 campaign! I’ve learned so much about what it means to be a dad, and I now have a new perspective on just how hard families across the country are working to build a better future for their kids.
It’s made me reflect on all of the work that Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team are doing to support Canadian families, and ensure that every Canadian child has a real and fair chance at success.
And like so many fathers all across Canada, dedicated dad-of-three Justin Trudeau is celebrating Father’s Day this weekend too.
No matter how you plan on spending this Father’s Day, I hope you’ll take a moment to celebrate the fathers you know in your life – whether it’s your own Dad or Grandfather, your spouse, or another loved one who inspires you to make a difference for the people you care about.
Please take a moment to sign the Father’s Day card for Justin Trudeau and all dads across Canada, with our best wishes for the year ahead!
