John,
It’s your Arizona Attorney General, Kris.
Since I first started campaigning for this office, and ever since you elected me, I’ve said this important phrase over and over and over again – I’m a lawyer for the people.
So I thought I’d explain who “the people” I fight for are.

I fight for my daughter, Hattie and her entire generation. When Donald Trump tries to crush the Department of Education, I think of her, and other children like her, who need that department to ensure their schools have the resources they need. I fight for Hattie, and I fight for all Arizona students.
I fight for those who can’t fight for themselves. When landlords conspire to raise rents, when they don’t fix air conditioning in the middle of summer, when power companies try to raise rates for corporate greed, I think about those who will suffer. Those on fixed incomes, those who are on hard times. Those who wouldn’t even know who to call if the AG wasn’t proactively fighting for them.
When a President tries to upend the economy with illegal tariffs, fires Arizonans for no reason, and acts like a king, not a President, I fight for those who still believe in the Constitution.
And at the end of the day, I fight for you. Unless you’re a corporation or elected official trying to profit off the people – if that’s you, then I don’t fight for those folks.
Here’s the thing. I focus so much on fighting for the people that I’m not so focused on campaign fundraising. But in a few days, I’ll have to report my campaign fundraising and I’m hoping to submit a report full of people-powered donations.
If you have even a few dollars to spare, it’ll show that the people still want someone in office that fights for them. Can you make a donation to send that message today? [ [link removed] ]
