Earlier this year, the national Republican Party publicly revealed its top Democratic targets in next year’s midterms… and to no one’s surprise, I was on the list.

Let me be clear: They want to replace me with a MAGA extremist who will rubber-stamp Trump’s agenda, no questions asked.

But here’s the good news: If we win right here in CA-47, we could DENY House Republicans a majority next year. I want to let you in on a little secret: I’ve heard from multiple Democratic pundits who believe that my candor and my courage are a liability. They think that my willingness to call out Donald Trump could make my re-election much tougher.
