We had another big win in court this week! The Supreme Court ruled that Donald Trump’s attempt to end the DACA program was an unlawful attack on Dreamers and our communities. 

The government made a promise to Dreamers that they would be allowed to stay in the U.S. and live their lives. These are our students, nurses, doctors, teachers, small business owners and community leaders. But the Trump Administration launched a cruel and unlawful crusade to break that promise and deport hundreds of thousands of Dreamers.

But here is the thing – we are your government too.

When we sue the Trump Administration, it’s not about politics. It’s about people. And this week, the people won.

While we’re thrilled with our win, we know this isn’t a permanent solution. Congress needs to take action and pass legislation protecting the DACA Program, as well as Temporary Protected Status for immigrant residents in Massachusetts and across the country.
