Podcast: Cell-Based Meat Debate from 2019 Conscious Eating Conference

We are excited to announce that The Vegan Report podcast by Rayane Laddi has posted the audio from our vigorous cell-based meat debate at our 2019 Conscious Eating Conference. The 8th Annual Conscious Eating Conference took place in Berkeley, California on March 2, 2019.

Please listen to (or revisit) this fascinating debate on the issue of cell-based (also called in-virto, clean, cultured, etc.) meat. As the technology of cell-based meat becomes a reality, some in the animal rights community have raised red flags. The question of cell-based meat and whether we, as animal advocates, should be putting our time and resources into this innovation is still an ongoing question years later.
