This morning, the Supreme Court decided in a 6-3 ruling that states can strip Planned Parenthood of Medicaid funding. It’s another reminder of the consequences of their decision three years ago this week to throw out 50 years of precedent, overturn Roe v. Wade, and end the constitutional right to abortion.
Since that ruling, Republicans have wasted no time in rolling back rights for women across the country. They’ve banned abortion in dozens of states, criminalized healthcare providers, and turned some of the most personal decisions imaginable into political battlegrounds.
And now that House Republicans have been given a legal pathway to restrict access to reproductive health care nationwide, they’re leveraging the chaos to push through a backdoor abortion ban in their big ugly bill. The House bill’s historic cuts to Medicaid will shut down health centers, undermine access to reproductive care, and further their goal of defunding Planned Parenthood.
The only way to stop them is to restore the balance of power in Congress, and that starts by flipping just three House seats in 2026.
👉 Here are five of the most vulnerable (and most extreme) anti-choice Republicans we’re targeting:
🟥 In AZ-01, Rep. David Schweikert is a six-time cosponsor of a national abortion ban with no exceptions, and said that women who seek an abortion “hate that baby.”
🟥 In CO-08, Gabe Evans dismissed the right to abortion as “ridiculous” and claimed he “don’t got the right parts” to understand women’s health care.
🟥 In WI-03, Derrick Van Orden said women should “have enough strength of character” to give birth, even in the most difficult circumstances.
🟥 In NE-02, Don Bacon co-sponsored a nationwide ban three times with zero exceptions for rape, incest, or the life of the mother.
🟥 In VA-02, Jen Kiggans compared abortion to a “Hollywood nose job” and a “shiny object.”
We can’t afford to let Republicans like this keep power. That’s why we’re organizing early and focusing everything on our 3 To Win strategy so that we can flip the House and put a critical check on the MAGA agenda.
