There have been a number of big updates in this race, so I wanted to take a moment to update you directly:

My hard-fought victory last year has made me a Republican target. I was one of only a few Democrats to flip red seats, and the NRCC and super PACs have launched attacks to make me a one-term Congressman.

Because of this, national Democrats have named me to their “Frontline” list – a program for the most at-risk incumbents in 2026. This district has also been named as one of the most competitive in the nation by the Cook Political Report and Inside Elections.

Despite all the noise in this race and from the Trump Administration, I’m laser-focused on delivering results for CA-27. I’ve introduced legislation, created a caucus to cut through gridlock, and am putting our communities first.

Our end-of-quarter deadline is in 4 days – when we’re required by the FEC to report our fundraising data. With control of the House hinging on just three seats, we can’t afford to have a poor showing.
