Millions will lose healthcare. Act now! ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌

Friend, as soon as this week the U.S. Senate will vote on the reconciliation budget bill which includes catastrophic cuts to Medicaid, the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and other essential services—programs that keep Americans healthy and alive. All to fund tax breaks for the ultra-wealthy and attack immigrants. They’re willing to take away healthcare from millions of Americans to do it.

Time is running out and we need your help to stop it. Demand that your Senators protect Medicaid and other lifesaving programs [link removed]

Phone calls from constituents like you are the most powerful way to influence Senators. Call (202) 224-3121 to be directly connected to your Senator’s office and you can say: I’m calling to urge my Senator to vote NO on the reconciliation budget bill and oppose its catastrophic cuts to Medicaid, SNAP, and other essential services. Medicaid is the nation's largest payer of addiction treatment. Cutting it will cost lives. This is more than a budget cut—it's a direct assault on health and overdose prevention services that help all of us live healthier and safer lives. Please oppose these cruel cuts and instead protect Medicaid and other services that prevent overdose and support recovery. Thank you.

President Trump has demanded that Congress rush to pass this bill by next week. If it passes the Senate, it will go back to the House for a final vote and then off to Trump who will sign it into law. The consequences will be devastating. Millions will lose healthcare. More lives will be lost to overdose. And more Americans will not have access to the care they need.

Medicaid is the nation's largest payer of addiction treatment. It provides critical access to medications that reduce the risk of fentanyl overdose, counseling that addresses the root causes of addiction, and inpatient care that offers people the stability they need to recover.

These aren’t luxuries—they’re lifesaving services. But now, Medicaid faces a staggering $793 billion in cuts. The price of these cuts? Human lives.

This is more than a budget cut—it's a direct assault on health and overdose prevention services that help all of us live healthier and safer lives. If passed, this bill will impose more red tape, more barriers, and fewer chances for people to get the care they need to survive and thrive.

This is one of our last chances to stop the bill from passing to help save Medicaid and other lifesaving programs.
