These politicians are not living in the same reality as the rest of us.
Have you heard about this, John?
Earlier this week, Mitch McConnell claimed that millions of Americans would simply “get over it” if they lose health coverage as a result of the GOP’s proposed budget bill.
FIGHT BACK NOW
Let that sink in for a minute.
Healthcare costs have become more unaffordable than ever. But to Mitch McConnell and his billionaire-backed allies, losing life-saving health coverage is just a small inconvenience — something everyday people should just “get over.”
And let’s not forget the flippant response Republican Senator Joni Ernst of Iowa gave her constituents last month, after they expressed concerns that people could die as a consequence of the same proposed cuts to Medicaid: “Well, we all are going to die.”
These politicians are not living in the same reality as the rest of us, John. And in 2026, 2028, and beyond, we’re going to hold them accountable for it.
That’s why we’re organizing. We’re fighting back. And we’re building a massive grassroots movement to elect leaders who will stand up for everyday American families instead of throwing them under the bus. So today, I’m asking you directly:
If you’re ready to elect leaders who will fight to protect healthcare for the American people, will you make a donation of $10 or whatever you can today?
