Hi John, it’s Jane Fonda.

Republican Senator Mike Lee has spent years attacking the values we hold dear, and now, he’s back with another dangerous proposal.

He recently attempted to include a provision in the latest Senate draft of Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” that would require the federal government to sell off up to 3.3 million acres of public land to state and local governments across 11 Western states.

Fortunately, massive public outcry and a ruling from the Senate Parliamentarian has forced him to abandon his original proposal, but he is committed to including a public land-sale provision in this bill. We can’t let that happen.

While he’s working on the exact language of his newest proposal, we need you to keep up the pressure and reach out to your Senators today and demand they reject any new sales of public lands in this legislation.

SIGN AND SEND

Public lands aren’t just landscapes. They’re places where families hike, fish, and hunt. They’re some of the few remaining places people can find connection with the natural world. Not to mention, they serve as some of the last remaining habitat for wildlife already impacted by over-development and the changing climate.

This land belongs to the people. It shouldn’t be sold off to pay for tax cuts for billionaires and corporations.

Can you take 2 minutes right now to send a message to your senators and urge them to block this reckless proposal?

Public lands belong to all of us. If we don’t speak up, we risk losing them for good.

-Jane Fonda
