California Increases Financial Aid Application Rate

A majority of this year's high school graduates—nearly six in ten—applied for higher education funding, either through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or a California Dream Act Application. California now ranks fifth among all states in FAFSA submission rates, after decades of being in the middle of the pack.
