I’ve spent nearly 20 years serving my community as a pediatrician, treating everything from asthma and violent trauma to the emotional toll of growing up in poverty.

I’ve seen what bad policy does to good families — and I’ve seen kids suffer because people like Lindsey Graham would rather protect their own power than protect children.

In 2022, after 15 years of working in hospitals, I ran for Congress because I knew our kids needed a voice in Washington. I lost — and I told my oldest daughter I wouldn’t run again.

But then Trump’s chaos came back.

And Lindsey Graham? He cheered.

The truth is, I’m scared. And I’m angry. And I’m done waiting.

So I’m stepping up — because our kids and this country can’t afford another six years of Lindsey Graham.
