The road to a Democratic House majority runs straight through Pennsylvania’s 7th Congressional District. Here’s why this race needs to be at the top of your priority list:

1. This is a pure toss-up.
This race has already been called a toss-up by political experts, and Ryan Mackenzie won by just one percentage point in 2024. Flipping this seat is within reach, but we need all hands on deck.

2. Ryan Mackenzie is out-of-touch.
Mackenzie cast the deciding vote for Trump’s MAGA budget: slashing Medicaid, adding work requirements to food assistance, and handing billions in tax breaks to the wealthy. He’s vulnerable, and he knows it.

3. Carol Obando-Derstine is the strongest candidate to win this seat.
Carol is the daughter of immigrants, she’s a nonprofit and public service leader, and she’s the only Latina running in this district. Her story resonates deeply in one of the most diverse areas in Pennsylvania.

4. Voters are already fired up.
Every week, voters are rallying outside Mackenzie’s office in protest. Constituents know he’s not working for them — and they’re ready for new leadership.

5. This seat could decide the House.
If we flip PA-07, we’re one seat closer to ending MAGA control in Washington and building a Congress that actually delivers for working families.
