Currently, Congress is proposing to slash Medicaid for Americans who need it. It’s part of the budget process where they’re going after key parts of the government to pay for lower taxes for the wealthiest among us.
Medicaid is a vital service that protects our most vulnerable Marylanders — and it’s a vital way that we leave no one behind. Throwing people off Medicaid goes against fundamental values we hold as Americans, and we will make our opposition known.
