Governor DeWine Appoints Henne to Montgomery Court of Common Pleas
(COLUMBUS, Ohio) – Ohio Governor Mike DeWine today announced the appointment of Michele Henne to the Montgomery Court of Common Pleas.
Henne, of Oakwood, will assume office on July 30, 2025 and will be taking the seat formerly held by Judge Skelton, who retired. She will serve the remainder of the unfished term and will need to run for election in November 2026 to retain the seat.
Henne began her law career in 2005 as a clerk for Judge Langer of the Montgomery County Court of Common Pleas. Starting in January 2006, she served as an extern for Judge Rose of the United States District Court, Southern District of Ohio. Later that year, she began her role as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Montgomery County Prosecutor’s Office. Henne is currently serving as an assistant prosecuting attorney for the Greene County Prosecutor’s Office.
In 2003, Henne received a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Dayton School of Law.
