We’re coming off the heels of a major Ranked Choice Voting (RCV) election in New York City—and now it’s Minnesota’s turn. The NYC election showcased how RCV encourages coalition-building, boosts voter participation, and promotes more positive, issue-focused campaigns.
This year, all five Minnesota cities that have adopted RCV—Minneapolis, St. Paul, Bloomington, Minnetonka, and St. Louis Park—will hold RCV elections. We are ramping up our efforts in a big way to ensure voters are informed, engaged, and ready to use their ballots to build a stronger, more representative democracy.
