Ernst's "Big Announcement" This Fall

WFW PAC-backed Sen. Joni Ernst's (R-IA) recently announced that she will be hosting her "Roast and Ride" fundraiser in Des Moines this October on what will be the 10th anniversary of the event. Though she has not officially declared her intention to run for a third term, she told The Washington Examiner to expect a "big announcement" this fall.

Ernst used the event to launch her last re-election campaign in 2019, and WFW PAC is thrilled to already be supporting her for another six-year term.

Miller-Meeks Draws A Familiar Challenger

Last week, liberal Christina Bohannan launched her third challenge to WFW PAC-backed Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-01) in what is likely to be one of the most closely watched House races of the cycle. Miller-Meeks defeated Bohannan by 7 points in 2022, but her margin of victory narrowed to 799 votes last November.

Miller-Meeks was part of WFW PAC's first round of battleground endorsements for the 2026 cycle, and we are proud to continue backing her as she fights for Iowans and our conservative principles.

Spotlight On: Rep. Michelle Fischbach

The WFW entities are committed to supporting women on the right leading in Congress. In every edition of this newsletter, we will be highlighting one of those leaders and the work she has done to strengthen the conservative movement.

We don't just want to see more qualified women serving in Congress, we want to continue supporting them and amplifying their legislative priorities as they rise through the ranks within their caucus.
