Good morning – it’s Deb.
I’m about to head out for another busy day on the campaign trail. Before I run out the door, I have a quick but important ask:
Will you chip in your first-ever $5 donation to our campaign to help keep me on the road?
The more grassroots support we receive through emails like this one, the less time I’m forced to spend calling donors over the phone to ask them to support our campaign. With a schedule as busy as mine, every minute I get to spend meeting with voters out on the trail is precious.
We’ve had a packed schedule these past few weeks. Recently, I was honored to attend the Common Defense Roundtable in Santa Fe, where I proudly accepted the early endorsement of Common Defense, the country’s largest grassroots membership organization of progressive veterans.
At the Common Defense Roundtable where we launched #VetsForDeb!
Then, I spoke with union members at the Carpenters’ Union Central Labor Council. I was glad to meet some inspiring union members and discuss how the union way of life makes our economy strong.
I also proudly marched in this year’s Albuquerque Annual Pride Parade, where I had the opportunity to tell our LGBTQ+ friends and family: I see you, I’m with you, and I will never stop fighting alongside you. 🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️
I cherish every minute I get to spend out in the community building momentum for our campaign and hearing directly from voters. But that time unfortunately gets cut short when we fall behind on our fundraising.
My ability to spend time out on the campaign trail is heavily dependent on the amount we raise through emails just like this one, so I must ask:
Be fierce,
Deb
P.S. The amount we’re able to raise through emails like the one you’re reading now determines how many voters we can meet and how strong of a campaign we can build to change the game for New Mexico. Will you keep my campaign team and me on the road by donating $5 before June 30?
